Basketball Recap: Logan Saari-Poznanski's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tuxedo over SS Seward

Tuxedo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 55-30 to SS Seward. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tornadoes of the 65-40 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2023.

Several Tornadoes players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Logan Saari-Poznanski, who posted ten points. Max Mitchell was another key player, putting up seven points.

Tuxedo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for SS Seward, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Tuxedo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 68-40 loss against Liberty on the 17th. As for SS Seward, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Tuxedo at 6:30 p.m. on January 30th.
