Softball Recap: St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings vs. Goretti Gael

St. John's Catholic Prep was the 9-0 winner over Goretti when they last played one another back in March of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. For Goretti's part, Cora Farmer made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up five earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. Farmer has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive pitching appearances. Farmer was even better at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-5.
