Punxsutawney won the last time they faced Bradford and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Chucks put the hurt on the Owls with a sharp 8-2 victory. The result was nothing new for the Chucks, who have now won five matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Max Burkett looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Punxsutawney's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Brody Stouffer, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

The victory made it two in a row for Punxsutawney and bumps their season record up to 7-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 2 run in those games. As for Bradford, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
