Softball Recap: Bayshore Has No Trouble Against Gibbs

Bayshore won the last time they faced Gibbs and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bruins were the clear victors by a 23-8 margin over the Gladiators. Considering the Bruins have won four contests by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win got Bayshore back to even at 4-4. As for Gibbs, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Coming up, Bayshore is taking a road trip to take on DeSoto County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Bruins surely won't give up without a fight. As for Gibbs, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Petersburg Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
