Volleyball Game Preview: Atascadero Greyhounds vs. Templeton Eagles + How To Watch

The Atascadero Greyhounds will venture away from home to challenge the Templeton Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Atascadero is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering San Luis Obispo just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Greyhounds have suffered since September 25th.

While Atascadero was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 25-8.

Meanwhile, Templeton lost 3-0 to Mission College Prep on Thursday. The Eagles have struggled against the Royals recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

While Templeton was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Mission College Prep's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-16, 25-17.

Templeton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Atascadero, their loss dropped their record down to 22-7.

Everything went Atascadero's way against Templeton when the teams last played back in September, as Atascadero made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Greyhounds since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
