Softball Recap: Los Altos Victorious

Los Altos won the last time they faced Wilcox and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Eagles came out on top against the Chargers by a score of 8-4.

Chloe Caldbeck spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on nine hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Makayla Mase, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Lily Whiting, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

The victory got Los Altos back to even at 5-5-2. As for Wilcox, they moved to 8-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Los Altos didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-3 win against Saratoga on the 27th. As for Wilcox, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Homestead on the 27th.
