Baseball Recap: St. Paul's Comes Up Short

St. Paul was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 9-4 to the Mandeville Skippers. The Wolves were not able to make up for their defeat to the Skippers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Jude Roberts made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Caime, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI.

St. Paul's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Mandeville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-17.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Skippers beat St. Paul's by a score of 15-3 on Saturday.
