Baseball Recap: Marblehead Comes Up Short

Marblehead lost to Bishop Fenwick back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Magicians fell 7-3 to the Crusaders.

Marblehead now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Bishop Fenwick, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Marblehead will head out to square off against Gloucester at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Fishermen's pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so the Magicians' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Bishop Fenwick, they will challenge Bishop Stang at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Crusaders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Spartans have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season.
