Joe Krolak Drops League-Best Effort on Friday
Starting off the list is Carlson's Joe Krolak, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Krolak's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 123 rushing yards dating back to last season. His longest rush was for an incredible 87 yards.
Carlson's win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Krolak and Carlson will take on Lincoln Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Steel Sage Made His Presence Known in Anderson's 42-14 Victory
Anderson picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jackson Steel Sage. Steel Sage turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 203 yards and two touchdowns while completing 76.9% of his passes, and also rushing for 77 yards on only five carries. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making four total tackles and defending a pass.
Steel Sage's next contest is against Roosevelt on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance. The last time Steel Sage took on the Bears, he threw for 121 yards and two touchdowns on perfect 7-for-7 passing, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Drew Carson Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Drew Carson's rushing tear continued on Friday as he dropped his fifth-straight game with 103+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (100.5) per game.
Trenton's homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Taylor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time Carson took on the Griffins, he rushed for 88 yards and a touchdown. Can he match (or beat) that performance?

Ashton Rooney continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his 11th-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 116 rushing yards. He rushed for 116 yards and a touchdown.
Rooney is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Taylor on Friday. Rooney rushed for 210 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 91 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Griffins duked it out back in October of 2023.

Another Trenton player making an appearance on this list is Ansel Fater. He wasn't messing around on Friday, picking up a sack and making 12 total tackles. The matchup was his third straight with six or more total tackles dating back to last season.
If the past is any indication, Fater could be in store for another big game when he takes on Taylor on Friday. Fater picked up a sack, made eight total tackles, and defended a pass in addition to snagging an interception the last time he and the Griffins duked it out back in October of 2023.
