Owen Stoffel posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out six batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Stoffel and O'Fallon will be playing at home against Belleville West at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sadly, Stoffel's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Panthers' three-game streak of wins at home.
