Basketball Recap: North Lamar's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

North Lamar won the last time they faced Bonham and things went their way on Tuesday too. The North Lamar Panthers enjoyed a cozy 64-50 win over the Bonham Warriors. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Bonham lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Heath Brown, who went 7 of 15 on his way to 18 points and three steals. Brown is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Dj Stewart was another key player, putting up 14 points and eight boards.

North Lamar has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. As for Bonham, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-10.

North Lamar has already played their next contest (against Pleasant Grove), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bonham will venture away from home to square off against Sulphur Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sulphur Springs will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Bonham surely won't give up without a fight.
