Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kaveon Schulte, who picked up 135 receiving yards and one TD. Schulte really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 73 yards. Dayton Humphreys was another key player, having thrown for 253 yards and two touchdowns.

Lane Mallinckrodt was his usual excellent self, throwing for 202 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 78.6% of his passes for St. Francis Borgia. The dominant performance also gave Mallinckrodt a new career-high in passer rating (159.2).
