Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Elmwood-Murdock). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Cedar Bluffs Wildcats 58-14 on the road. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Dashiell Coleman was his usual excellent self, rushing for 125 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries, while also throwing for 90 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Brody Marsh, who rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.

He was just one part of a punishing run game: Elmwood-Murdock was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 329 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cedar Bluffs only rushed for 144.

Although Cedar Bluffs took the loss, they still got scores from Grayden Pleskac and Jaren Boschult.

Elmwood-Murdock has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Cedar Bluffs, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Elmwood-Murdock didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 16-6 defeat against Weeping Water on the 17th. Cedar Bluffs has also already played their next match, a 58-0 loss against Sacred Heart on the 18th.
