Volleyball Recap: Le Grand Comes Up Short

Le Grand lost against Mariposa County back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Grizzlies, falling 3-0. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-16, 25-15.

Leading Mariposa County to victory were MIA HANSEN and ABBY BEERY. HANSEN had nine digs and two aces, while BEERY had six digs and two aces. BEERY is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Le Grand's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Mariposa County, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Le Grand is set to square off against their familiar foe Gustine at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Mariposa County will take on rival Delhi at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
