The Tucker Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Cross Keys Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Tucker is looking to tack on another W to their seven-game streak on the road.
In what's become a running theme this season, Tucker gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They blew past Miller Grove 11-0. The victory was just what Tucker needed coming off of a 9-1 loss in their prior contest.
Their offense was hitting Miller Grove from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal.
Jennifer McIntosh led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for seven goals all by herself.
Meanwhile, after soaring to ten goals the game before, Cross Keys were a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to Arabia Mountain.
Tucker's win bumped their record up to 9-4-1. As for Cross Keys, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Tucker took their victory against Cross Keys in their previous meeting back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 10-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tucker since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
