Volleyball Recap: Weber Takes a Loss

Weber was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fremont Silverwolves. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Silverwolves when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Weber started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-23, 25-17, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Weber still got an impressive performance from Tesyn Stewart, who had 21 digs and three aces. Stewart has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Weber's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Fremont, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Weber will take on Green Canyon at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fremont, they will square off against Layton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
