Game recap: Edmond North picks up early lead in victory over Edmond Santa Fe

Edmond North (Edmond, Okla.) jumped out to an early lead against Edmond Santa Fe (Edmond, Okla.) and never looked back on the way to a 26-13 victory on Saturday.

The Huskies put up 10 points in the opening frame. Edmond North scored on a field goal by Trevor Moore, a touchdown run by Michael Farmer and a touchdown.

EN was up 13-0 at the half after taking the lead on a field goal by Moore in the first quarter.

The Huskies saw their 13-point halftime lead fall to 10 entering the fourth.

The Wolves' Justice Hansen was the standout player for his team. The junior quarterback threw two touchdowns.

Moore played well for Edmond North in the victory. The junior kicked four field goals and two extra points.



EN got revenge for last year's 31-21 loss to Edmond Santa Fe with the victory.

The loss comes after Edmond Santa Fe defeated Yukon 42-23 last week. The loss snapped ESF's 2-game winning streak.

In a 6A District 3 game next week Edmond North (3-0) takes on Putnam City North, and Edmond Santa Fe (2-1) will go up against Southmoore in a 6A District 4 game.
