Basketball Recap: Barrington Beats Westerly for Their Fourth Straight Win

With a playoff win on the line, Barrington rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They walked away with a 76-68 win over the Westerly Bulldogs. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Caleb Satisfield was his usual excellent self, putting up 33 points. His big performance that evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Colin McDermott, who posted 15 points.

Despite the loss, Westerly still got an impressive performance from Lucas Pennell, who earned 28 points. Those 28 points gave Pennell a new career-high. Caleb Williams was another key player, scoring 12 points.

Barrington's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points over those games. As for Westerly, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-14.

Barrington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 74-65 defeat against Central on the 21st. Westerly does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
