Basketball Game Preview: West Columbus Vikings vs. East Bladen Eagles

The West Columbus Vikings will square off against the East Bladen Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. West Columbus has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 27.

On Tuesday, West Columbus lost to Heide Trask at home by a 71-52 margin.

Meanwhile, East Bladen suffered their biggest defeat since December 3, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against South Columbus, falling 47-27. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Stallions recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

West Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for East Bladen, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

West Columbus and East Bladen were neck-and-neck when the teams last played on Wednesday, but West Columbus came up empty-handed after a 53-52 loss. Can West Columbus avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
