Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Desert Mountain's Third in Last Four Outings

Desert Mountain picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the Moreau Catholic Mariners by a score of 2-0.

Ava Archibald paced Desert Mountain's offense, picking up seven kills. Archibald got some help from Isabella Mitchell and her ten assists. Mitchell was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Desert Mountain has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-15 record this season. As for Moreau Catholic, they moved to 8-9 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Desert Mountain didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Maricopa on the 27th. As for Moreau Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against James Logan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
