Softball Recap: Martin Takes a Loss

After flying high against North Garland last Saturday, Martin came back down to earth. The Martin Warriors took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wakeland Wolverines on Saturday.

Martin's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Wakeland, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.

Looking ahead, Martin will be taking part in a tournament against West at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wakeland, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Walnut Grove at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Wakeland's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last four matches.
