On the hitting side, Haven Hickox was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Addi Recker, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI.

Charlotte's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Riverview Sarasota, their victory bumped their record up to 17-4.
