It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Emmanuel Christian Academy ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past the Catholic Central Irish 73-71. The Lions have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Irish, too.

Emmanuel Christian Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Catholic Central, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Emmanuel Christian Academy will venture away from home to face off against Yellow Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Catholic Central, they will head out to take on Madison Plains at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
