Softball Recap: Oak Hills Bulldogs vs. Serrano Diamondbacks
Oak Hills proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by 17) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Serrano Diamondbacks 9-8. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-1 on April 10th.
Oak Hills got a great performance from CARSYN LEON as she tossed five innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. LEON has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Oak Hills let AMAYA SIGALA and NATALIA MARTINS run wild. SIGALA went 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI, while MARTINS went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Those two hits gave MARTINS a new career-high. Another player making a difference was JADE WHITMAN, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
