Friday just wasn't the day for Carbondale Area's offense. They had to suffer through a 49-0 loss at the hands of the Wyoming Area Warriors. Lidge Kellum was his usual excellent self, rushing for 193 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries for Wyoming Area. Kellum's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his tenth straight game with at least 103 rushing yards.
Carbondale Area's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Wyoming Area, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1.
