Football Recap: Harrison Piles Up the Points Against South Cobb + How To Watch

Harrison had won seven straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they bumped up to 6-1 to make it eight. They breezed past the South Cobb Eagles to the tune of 49-7. The matchup marked the Hoyas' most dominant win of the season.

Harrison's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dj Huggins, who picked up 70 receiving yards and one TD, and also punched in one rushing score. Aiden Watson was another key signal caller, throwing for 87 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.

Harrison was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 327 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Another reason for the win was Harrison's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for nine sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Adam Price and Olrick Johnson Iii, who racked up five sacks between them. Johnson Iii is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season.

As for South Cobb, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5. The contest marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the loss, South Cobb still got an impressive performance from Ty'Lil Terrell, who rushed for 129 yards and one score on only five carries, and also picked up 37 receiving yards. Terrell really tore up the turf during one magnificent 87-yard run.

Harrison didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-7 win against Osborne on the 17th. As for South Cobb, they have also already played their next game, a 22-20 defeat against Pebblebrook on the 17th.
