Hawaiian Mission Academy extended their winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Kelis Tavares. The Hawaiian Mission Academy Knights blew past Monterey Bay Academy 45-22 on Thursday thanks in part to Tavares, who made all 9 shots she took for 20 points and seven steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Hawaiian Mission Academy's points.

Colbie Nakamura was another key player, going 5 for 9 on her way to 12 points and six rebounds. That's the most points she has posted since back in January of 2024.
