Softball Game Preview: South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls vs. Albemarle Bulldogs

South Stanly has gone a perfect 10-0 against Albemarle recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Rowdy Rebel Bulls will welcome the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

South Stanly fell victim to Union Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 2-0. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Rowdy Rebel Bulls' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Kinsley Tyson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

Meanwhile, Albemarle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 18-3 to Gray Stone Day.

South Stanly has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Albemarle, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

South Stanly took their victory against Albemarle in their previous meeting on Thursday by a conclusive 16-0 score. Will the Rowdy Rebel Bulls repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
