Baseball Recap: Woodlake Falls Short of California City in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Woodlake can now relate to. They fell 4-0 to the California City Ravens on Friday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Woodlake saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elias Lang, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles.

Woodlake's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10-1. As for California City, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-9-1 record this season.

Woodlake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for California City, they will head out to square off against South at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
