Basketball Recap: Jamarion Glover and Austin Brown Secure Win for North Callaway

North Callaway was handed a 41-point defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Eldon Mustangs 54-51. For the Thunderbirds, this counts as revenge for the 59-37 win the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

North Callaway was led to victory by Austin Brown and Jamarion Glover. Brown went 7 for 10 on his way to 17 points, while Glover dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Clayton Moore, who posted nine points and seven rebounds.

North Callaway's record now sits at 4-5. As for Eldon, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

North Callaway has already played their next contest, a 58-32 loss against Hermann on the 16th. As for Eldon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 66-64 victory against New Bloomfield on the 17th.
