St. David is a perfect 6-0 against San Simon since October of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Tigers are taking a road trip to challenge the Longhorns at 5:00 p.m. San Simon took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on St. David, who comes in off a win.

St. David took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Patagonia by a score of 3-1.

St. David walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 22-25, 25-14, 25-20.

Meanwhile, San Simon suffered their biggest loss since October 18, 2024 on Wednesday. They came up short against Duncan, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Longhorns haven't been shut out since back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-17, 25-17.

San Simon's defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 11-10. As for St. David, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-18.

St. David took their victory against San Simon in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
