Preview: Woodbridge vs. Beckman
Woodbridge will head out on the road to face off against Beckman at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Woodbridge has not lost a match since December 27, 2023, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Sage Hill. Three seems to be a good number for Woodbridge as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Jerome Ligate and
Zachary Rockoff, who scored.
Meanwhile, Beckman faced off against Northwood for the first time this season, and Beckman walked away the winners. They beat Northwood by a goal, winning 2-1.
Woodbridge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-5-2 record this season. As for Beckman, their win bumped their record up to 4-7-2.
Woodbridge took their win against Beckman when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 4-1. Will Woodbridge repeat their success, or does Beckman have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
