Basketball Recap: Anderson Prep Academy Takes a Loss

Anderson Prep Academy had lost three straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 5-6 to make it four. They took a blow against the Greenwood Christian Academy Cougars, falling 63-29. The Jets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-15.

As for Greenwood Christian Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-4. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Greenwood Christian Academy found their leader in sophomore Myra Finnity, who dropped a double-double with 28 points and 15 rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Finnity now owns an excellent 47.8% shooting accuracy. Molly Hunter was another key player, going 7-for-13 en route to 15 points and three steals.

Looking ahead, Anderson Prep Academy will head out on the road to face off against Madison-Grant at 7:30 p.m. on the 18th. As for Greenwood Christian Academy, they will face off against Indianapolis Scecina Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
