Volleyball Recap: 16 Straight Home Victories for Boone Grove

Boone Grove won the last time they faced South Central and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wolves put the hurt on the Satellites with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Boone Grove was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 27-25, 25-8.

Ian Baisley paced Boone Grove's offense, picking up 14 kills. Baisley got some help from Pauly McCoy and his 23 assists. Baisley was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Boone Grove pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. As for South Central, they moved to 10-4 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Boone Grove will challenge Crown Point at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for South Central, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Hebron on the 25th.
