Mankato West won the last time they faced Red Wing and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Scarlets blew past the Wingers 18-4. The result was nothing new for the Scarlets, who have now won six games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Mankato West has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Red Wing, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Mankato West will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wingers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
