Woodstock Academy faced Waterford in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Centaurs came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lancers, sneaking past 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Centaurs sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Not much got past Logan Coutu, who gave up just a hit to keep Waterford off the board. Coutu has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Tanner Graham was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.

Woodstock Academy's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-8. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Waterford, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.

As of now, neither Woodstock Academy nor the Lancers have any future games scheduled.
