Baseball Recap: Fuquay - Varina Takes a Loss

Fuquay - Varina blew Cleveland out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Cleveland got their revenge. Fuquay - Varina fell just short of Cleveland by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bengals have suffered against the Rams since April 29, 2022.

Fuquay - Varina's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-5. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.67 runs. As for Cleveland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
