Football Game Preview: Forestview Jaguars vs. North Gaston Wildcats + How To Watch

Forestview is on a three-game streak of home losses, and North Gaston a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Forestview Jaguars will welcome the North Gaston Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Friday, Forestview was beaten by South Point 56-14. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 227th, while the Red Raiders are ranked 25th).

Meanwhile, North Gaston fell victim to Crest and their airtight defense last Friday. They had to suffer through a 76-0 loss at the hands of the Chargers.

North Gaston's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Forestview, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Forestview beat North Gaston 14-7 in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
