Softball Preview: White Knoll Timberwolves vs. Belton-Honea Path Bears
The White Knoll Timberwolves will head out on the road to take on the Belton-Honea Path Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. White Knoll is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
On Thursday, White Knoll sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 victory over Mid-Carolina.
White Knoll got a great performance from Adelynn Lewis as she pitched 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits.
At the plate, White Knoll let Mackenzi Bradley and Allie Royer loose on the outfield. Bradley scored two runs while going 2-for-4, while Royer scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Hailey Murray was another key contributor, scoring a run while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
