Baseball Recap: Stanton Takes a Loss

Stanton lost against Compass Academy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Buffaloes came up short against Compass Academy, falling 18-7. The Buffaloes just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Stanton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Stone, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Stanton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Compass Academy, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Stanton will take on rival Crane at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Compass Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Coahoma at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
