Basketball Recap: Drake/Anamoose Comes Up Short

If Drake/Anamoose was riding high fresh off their 55-30 takedown of Center-Stanton last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Drake/Anamoose Raiders took a 44-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop Ryan Lions. The Raiders lost against the Lions in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 68-35 score last time.

Drake/Anamoose's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Bishop Ryan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.

Drake/Anamoose will challenge Parshall at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bishop Ryan, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 44-31 loss against Des Lacs-Burlington on the 14th.
