Baseball Recap: St. Joseph Takes a Loss

St. Joseph has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.44 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They took a 19-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Antonio Christian Lions. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (13), the Flyers still had to take the loss.

St. Joseph's defeat dropped their record down to 29-7. As for San Antonio Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-11.

St. Joseph does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for San Antonio Christian, they will take on San Antonio HomeSchool at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in the Lions' favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while the Wolverines have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
