Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Diller-Odell

Diller-Odell waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 62-51 victory over the Parkview Christian Patriots. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 49-46 back in January.

Diller-Odell got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cooper Morgan out in front who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 15 rebounds. Diller-Odell is 6-1 when Morgan posts ten or more boards, but 8-9 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Xavier Zaboktrsky, who posted 13 points and six assists.

Diller-Odell was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Parkview Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Guilherme De-Lima, who earned 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Thomas Stone also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Diller-Odell's victory bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Parkview Christian, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-12.

Diller-Odell has already played their next contest, a 61-45 loss against Stuart on the 1st. Parkview Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
