Softball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Chugiak

Chugiak extended their postseason success on Saturday against South Anchorage. They walked away with an 8-4 win over the Wolverines. The victory was nothing new for the Mustangs as they're now sitting on four straight.

The team relied heavily on Celeste Mast, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. Shelby Strange was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Chugiak kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 12 hits in four consecutive games.

Chugiak's win bumped their record up to 25-6. As for South Anchorage, their loss dropped their record down to 15-8.

As of now, neither Chugiak nor the Wolverines have any future games scheduled.
