Flag Football Game Preview: Workman Lobos vs. Edgewood Lions

The Workman Lobos will venture away from home to take on the Edgewood Lions at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Edgewood took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Workman, who comes in off a win.

Workman's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Wednesday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 27-0 win over Pomona. The Lobos' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Edgewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 32-0 loss at the hands of Pomona.

Workman's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-6-1. As for Edgewood, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Workman didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Edgewood when the teams last played back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 13-9 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lobos since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
