Basketball Recap: Hoggard Vikings vs. Willow Spring Storm
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hoggard had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They took down the Willow Spring Storm 58-42. The Vikings pushed the score to 50-30 by the end of the third, a deficit the Storm cut but never quite recovered from.

Hunter McGrath continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 11 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played. Lawson Brown was another key player, going 5-for-11 on his way to 11 points.
They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Hoggard was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Willow Spring only seven assists.
