American Fork took a three-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Lehi, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cavemen sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Pioneers on Thursday. For American Fork, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory Lehi walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for American Fork and bumps their season record up to 7-4. As for Lehi, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.

Coincidentally, American Fork and Lehi will both be playing Corner Canyon the next time they take the pitch. The Pioneers will host the Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Cavemen will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
