Volleyball Recap: Athens Warriors vs. Havana Ducks
Athens gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They came out on top against the Havana Ducks by a score of 2-0. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Ducks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
While Athens won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19.
Among those leading the charge was Talya Baker, who had eight digs and two aces.
