Softball Recap: Rosebud-Lott Takes a Loss

If Rosebud-Lott was riding high fresh off their 15-2 takedown of Bartlett last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cougars came up short against the Thorndale Bulldogs on Friday, falling 13-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in March.

Rosebud-Lott's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Thorndale, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Rosebud-Lott is set to challenge their familiar foe Bremond at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Thorndale will take on rival Granger at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
