Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Cruz Rodriguez stepped things up a notch to give Carnegie Vanguard the 'W'. Rodriguez scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Rodriguez's strong effort led Carnegie Vanguard over Westbury and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Rhinos have some work to do to even out the 1-8 series between these two since March of 2018, but a win here would be a good start.
